Breast Cancer are one of the most notorious killer for women around the globe. Around 627,000 women are projected to die from breast cancer this year alone. And since women are such an integral part in society especially for their families and children, their deaths will bring a devastating effect that’s quite hard to recover. The sad thing is, with early detection and proper care breast cancer is actually among the most treatable forms of cancer. That’s why October has been dubbed as Breast Cancer Awareness Month to spread awareness to the people about the danger of breast cancer and it’s prevention.

Yes, it can be prevented. Although there’s still no single definitive way to avoid cancer 100%, with proper healthy lifestyle, your chance of developing one can be greatly reduced. Here’s what science says about how to reduce risk developing a breast cancer.

1Don’t Drink Too Much

We know that drink in social events and gatherings are one way to reduce stress. But drinking has long been associated with at least 7 kind of cancer. And even in recent 2015 study published in BMJ, drinking even one glass per day can increase a woman’s risk developing cancer, particulary breast cancer by up to 13%. Perhaps it’s because drinking alcohol can increase estrogen levels to a potentially dangerous degree. Although general daily intake of alcohol is limited by Federal dietary guidelines to up to a drink per day for women or two per day for men, we still encourage you to avoid alcohol to reduce the risk of cancer.
